No fear in love. Fear has to do with punishment. We can be made perfect in love. Are we shaped more by fear of punishment by God or love of God for His grace?
The Apostle John writes that “God is Love.” What did this mean then and now?

There are sometimes different interpretations of scripture. We should ‘test the Spirit’ to know whether they should be believed or not.

The Apostle John wrote to a group of people who needed some assurance that they were at peace with God. After a bit of a riddle, he gives 3 marks of those who are at peace with God.
1 John 3:16-18
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
As we approach our AGM, this passage reminds of all God has done for us. Others share their stories of what God has done over the past year. We look forward to what God will do this year, following John 15:5.
