Luke 4:18-19 – “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.
Despite persecution God loves to free us.
There is much persecution which is how the devil attacks the church. We mustn’t get complacent in how we serve God, as the Laodiceans did (Revalations 3:14-22).

This book is the acts of God through many people. How will you allow Him to work through you this week?
Would we be as bold as the first apostles? Matthew 10:16 says ‘be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.’
