Deuteronomy 8:1-5 & Mark 1:9-12
Do we feel invisible or insignificant? God sees and cares for us. What do you want God to do for you?
Are we learning and growing in wisdom and favour with God and man?
Jesus is our boss but also wants to be our friend.
Are we too familiar with the Christmas story? Remember Jesus is eternal, God, creator, source of life, light to mankind .
2 Samuel 12:1-14
Do we make excuses for our sin, or do we come to God and confess our sins? v13
However “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Psalm 51 is David’s prayer of confession.
2 Samuel 11:1-5
This is only the beginning and then the cover up begins. There is a temptation to cover up our sin.
1 John 1:8-10 tells us to confess our sin and then God will forgive us. That’s the challenge for us all.
